Overview
Peractio was engaged by a leading data centre owner-operator to recover and deliver a colocation expansion project in Berlin, adding 2 MW of additional power and cooling capacity to an existing live facility.
The Challenge
The project was behind schedule with incomplete installations and coordination issues. The expansion had to progress without impacting live data halls, creating significant technical risk.
Our Approach
Peractio assumed responsibility for project delivery and close-out, focusing on milestones and introducing a Last Planner system. We devised a temporary infrastructure solution to provide resilient power and cooling, simplifying reporting and directly engaging with vendors to restore structure and accountability.
Results
Network Early Access and a revised Ready for Service milestone were both achieved on time. Performance and coordination improved measurably, and Peractio continued to lead close-out and defects management.
